Irena Grazia Paints Tiny
I love making these tiny paintings.
What started as a bit of fun has gradually become an ongoing album of miniature paintings and sketches. They’re quick to make, easy to take with me and a great way of capturing something that catches my eye without every idea having to become a larger finished painting.
Some are painted or sketched outside, often quite quickly. Sometimes they are simply a record of a place or moment; sometimes a tiny study gives me the idea for a larger painting.
I’m not sure yet how small I’ll go! That’s part of the fun. I’m also interested to see what the collection itself might become. Some may be individually framed, some could find their way onto cards, or perhaps a group will eventually come together as a montage. At the moment, I’m simply collecting them and enjoying the process.
The full Irena Grazia Paints Tiny album travels with me when I exhibit, so if you see me at an exhibition, do ask to have a look through it.
You can also follow the series as it grows on Instagram.

If you enjoy following the collection and would like to buy me a virtual cup of coffee, rather than buying the coffee you can make a small donation through my iPaint4Hope fundraising page.
The money goes directly to Cancer Research, making a little bit of art do a little bit of good.
